The Northern Kentucky University/Greater Cincinnati Alumni Club will award one (1) four-year $10,000 ($2,500 per year) and two or more one-time $2,500 scholarships to the University of Kentucky to 2009 graduates of area high schools. All area students who qualify (minimum ACT score of 28 or SAT score of 1240 and minimum GPA of 3.30 and submit an application to the University of Kentucky will be automatically eligible for selection as recipients of the scholarships.

Archbishop Alter Scholarship offers a four-year renewable grant (paid twice a year) to graduating high school students in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati who are African American and Catholic. University of Cincinnati is announcing the Cincinnatus XIII scholarship competition where more than $18 million will be awarded to students who will be judged on academic abilities, creative skills and leadership potential. Mensa Education & Research Foundation’s annual scholarship essay is open to any person enrolled or accepted for enrollment at an accredited American Institution for post-secondary education for the 2008-2009 academic year.
