Concert Band

 

After Marching Band completes its season, Concert Band begins. It's not as intense as Marching Band, since there are not as many after-school practices, but it still requires dedication.

 

All La Salle and Mercy instrumentalists are required to be members of the Concert Band as this is one of two portions of the entire band program that determines their academic grade and credit. The Concert Band normally presents three concerts during the school year. They are the Winter Pops Concert in December, the Festival of Bands in March and the Spring Pops Concert in May. Concert Band practices start the first week of November and continue throughout the rest of the school year.
